Experience in narrative film production has informed me in the need for planning(Pre Production). This leads to efficient production so that coverage of neccessary footage and sound elements are present in Post Production, the final assembly of images in editing, colour management and sound.

Production values refers to elements of a shoot such as composition, framing, lighting, focus, movement, exposure and image quality. I have long expereince and training in acquiring footage with high production values. This reflects in the final product.

In addition, I have worked as a TV studio cameraman and event videographer which has taught me to be flexible and adapt to conditions using run & gun style and make use of opportunities for great shots as they arise.

Technology has progressed over the years and I have bulit on decades of experience by maintaining a kit comprised of the latest equipment and advanced knowledge in using it to full advantage. Gear such as digital cinema cameras, gimbals, drones and supporting tripods, jibs and dollies, now allow a single operator to achieve shots previously only possible with prohibitively expensive film industry equipment.

Aerial cameras can even allow shots not possible on traditional film equipment. For example, camera drones allow advanced movement in shots previously not even possible from aircraft.

I bring all these elements to a production, as a single business operator, offering cost benefits and quality productions.
